My computer is slowly dying a death, and last year it lost a lot of well loved photos after a crash. I brought them back by using search as they were hiding within the harddrive somewhere, but when the pc turned off, off went the photos, seemingly for good. I have had a proper data recover done once at a computer place, but wondered if I could buy a download that would do a good enough job? There's so many to choose, I just wanted a bit of a helping hand before my pc draws its last breath...
